Two months later and rescue pups Enzo and Maurice, formerly Morris, are thriving in their forever home! This pair of cuties were transferred to the HSVC in mid-October as a result of a dog hoarding case in Santa Barbara County. They were adopted in November by Louesa and Curtis and have been living the good life ever since!

There’s an old saying that when choosing a pet, the pet actually chooses you. Such is the case for Sophia, Ashton, and their kitten, Brody. While quarantining at home amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the couple decided what better time to welcome a new fur baby into their family. They came across 9-week-old Brody’s photo, then Birch, on the HSVC website and instantly fell in love.

According to Mark, Millie and his cat, Mr. Pickles Jenkins, have formed a very close friendship since bringing her home in August of 2019.
