HSVC Cares frequently hosts free remote vaccination clinics at locations across Ventura County. Thanks to our friends at Petco Love, we are able to offer free DHPP for dogs and free FVRCP for cats to those in need. We also offer $5 Rabies vaccines at these offsite clinics. These clinics are intended to serve low-income pet owners and do not require an appointment, as it is first come first served and cash only. Please call the shelter at 805-646-6505 to find out when and where the next HSVC Cares remote vaccination clinic is. 

Always discuss your pet’s health and particular medical needs with your veterinarian. Please note all animals MUST be on leash or in a carrier when arriving for your appointment and puppies must be at least 16-weeks-old to receive a Rabies vaccine.

Dogs:

• DHPP (Distemper / Hepatitis / Parvovirus / Parainfluenza) - FREE
• Rabies Vaccine -$5 (proof of prior vaccination required for a 3-year license)

Cats:

• FVRCP (Rhinotracheitis / Calicivirus / Panleukopenia) - FREE
• Rabies Vaccine - $5 (proof of prior vaccination required for a 3-year license)

 *Please note we do not offer vaccination for Leptospirosis, Canine Influenza (dog flu), or FelineLeukemia Virus. We do not offer nail trims during vaccination clinics.
