After being seen by our Vet, Cedric was diagnosed with Calicivirus, a common upper respiratory virus that often affects cats and kittens in shelters. • Rest in Peace, Rocket

Edward first met Rocket at an HSVC adoption event eleven years ago. He fell in love with the handsome pup and quickly decided to make him a permanent member of the family.

"From that moment on I had a constant companion and best friend and he’s traveled the country and had many adventures," said Edward of the sweet dog.

Rocket recently crossed the rainbow bridge after a long battle with health issues, but his memory lives on. " I shall forever be grateful to have had him. I have donated to your agency with his memory in my mind. He was a special animal to many people, never 'just a dog'," said Edward. Rest in peace, Rocket!
