It has been nearly one year since Big Boy found his forever home with Pam and we think it's safe to say he is loving life! This handsome guy came to the HSVC as an owner surrender in October of 2021 and had a hard time adjusting to shelter life. Thankfully, his new mama Pam was in search of a furry companion and completely fell in love with Big Boy! 

According to Pam, Big Boy spent a lot of time under the bed when he was first brought home. This is very common for pets when they are first adjusting to their new surroundings. We are happy to share that Big Boy came around with time and now spends his days exploring the house and gazing out windows. 

"Big Boy is coming around nicely. He no longer hides under the bed or under the TV. He sleeps on my bed at night for most of the night. He really has come out of his shell and feels quite comfortable in his new home," said Pam.
