Paloma's journey with the HSVC began in September of 2021 after she and her sister, Jessie, were surrendered in the field to our Humane Officers. She was just 4-months-old at the time. After being briefly adopted out and returned through no fault of her own, Paloma was back at the shelter in search of her true forever home.

One year later and senior dog Sassy is thriving in her forever home! Ten-year-old Sassy was surrendered to the HSVC in early February of 2021 after her previous owner could no longer care for her. It didn't take long for the sweet Jack Russell Terrier mix to catch the eye of her new family and she was quickly adopted by Erin, Layla, and Jason. According to Layla, it's been nonstop love ever since!
