Java and Annika are best friends! Formerly Bob, this handsome boy was adopted from the shelter in late September of 2022 after being transferred through our rescue partners. The pair have spent the last few months adventuring together and having the best time. Most recently, Java made the move with Annika to Davis, CA, where she attends UC Davis as a biology major. He's a college boy now!

"He’s been enjoying his life in Davis as he loves going to the farmers market, going to the park, and loves chasing around the campus squirrels! He’s really popular here as everyone who walks by us make a comment about his unique spotted tongue and he get loads of affection from the university students. We spend our weekends at the dog park or in downtown Davis and he couldn’t be happier! So happy I got to adopt him!" said Annika.
