Cedric's Happily Ever After

Six months post adoption and Cedric is thriving in his forever home with Nancy! This handsome guy was brought to the shelter by our Humane Officers in mid-April of 2022 as part of a hoarding case. After being seen by our Vet, Cedric was diagnosed with Calicivirus, a common upper respiratory virus that often affects cats and kittens in shelters. While not fatal, the diagnosis made it difficult for Cedric to find his forever home. Nancy was able to see past Cedric's condition and officially made him a part of her family after 114 days at the shelter!

Lucky boy Cedric now spends his days napping in various places around the house and cuddling with his new mom. Nancy even had a custom mug made with his face on it. That's true love!

"Cedric is a love. He has fully recovered and even though he has no teeth, it doesn’t stop him from eating. We are very content!" said Nancy. Thank you, Nancy, for taking a chance on Cedric and giving him the loving home he deserves.
