We are excited to share a triple adoption success story this week! Meet Tonto, Cici, and Bolita, an adorable trio of Chihuahuas all adopted from the HSVC by the Armenta family!

Tonto was the first of the pack to find his home with the Armenta’s in November of 2018. While searching for a loving dog to join their family, daughter Leilani came across Tonto’s photo on the HSVC website. They came to the shelter for a visit and immediately fell in love with the sweet pup. According to mom Brandy, the pair are now inseparable. “He went everywhere with us and is truly her dog, he will not leave her side!” said Brandy.

After a few months, the Armenta’s decided they wanted a friend for Tonto. Once again, they browsed the HSVC website and came across Cici and Bolita. The family did not realize the Chihuahuas were a bonded pair at the time, but they were still interested enough to visit them at the shelter. “We took Tonto for a visit and thought maybe three would be too many but now realize it was meant to be and three is perfect!” said Brandy. The Armenta’s completed their family by adopting Cici and Bolita in January of 2019.

The trio of pooches are now like the three musketeers in their forever home! They love to go camping, fishing, and exploring with their loving family. Each pup even has its own set of adorable outfits to wear when the family goes out for special occasions. We want to extend a huge thank you to the Armenta family for rescuing not one, not two, but three furry friends! Truly inspirational!
