Pet of the Week - Wendy Nova
Posted by Amy King · December 14, 2020 9:16 AM · 1 reaction
A gorgeous Quarterhorse and Arabian mix, Wendy Nova is still searching for her forever home! The 13-year-old mare was brought to the shelter in 2008 as a result of an abuse and neglect case. After being adopted out briefly, Wendy Nova was returned to the shelter in 2018 through no fault of her own. This pretty girl is not broke to ride, but she has a great foundation of groundwork. She would make a great pasture horse for anyone looking for a sweet and friendly companion.

The adorable Chihuahua mix is a little nervous meeting new friends, but he is very sweet when he gets comfortable with you. Beckham's perfect home would be with a patient owner who is willing to let him adjust to his new surroundings in his own time.

As you can see, Todd is patiently waiting for his forever home! Five-year-old Todd came to the Humane Society of Ventura County after being rescued in the field by our Humane Officers as part of a cat hoarding case. Despite the situation he came from, Todd is one of the most affectionate cats we've ever met! He absolutely loves to be pet, especially chin scratches. We also think he may be part dog, as he would do anything for a good belly rub! Todd is the perfect companion pet for anyone that is looking for a lovable lap cat.
