Pet of the Week - Chaka

If you have visited our adult cat room lately you may have been greeted by a lovely black cat named Chaka. Chaka, a 6 year old male domestic short hair, was brought to the shelter after his owner passed away back in June.

Pet of the Week - Rambo

Rambo is one amazing and energetic dog! This 3 year old sable German Shepherd was signed over to our Humane Officers in the field last week. Fortunately his previous family provided us with lots of helpful information so he can get adopted into the perfect new home.

This dapper dog is our new friend Louie! We are just getting to know this 2 year old Tibetan Spaniel and Corgi mix and so far he is just as charming as he looks.

Pet of the Week - Harper Blu

Harper Blu is one smart pup! This 2 year old Husky is looking for a partner and friend. She was originally brought to the shelter as a stray and sadly was never claimed. Harper Blu was briefly adopted and while the family was not able to keep her we were able to learn some basic information about her personality and needs.

Five month old Willard was a natural for the camera during his photo shoot this week. Besides his impressive ability to strike a pose, this young brown and white mouse is a friendly little guy!

Sweety didn't get her name by accident! This darling cream colored Chihuahua has been an absolute doll since she arrived at the shelter at the beginning of June.

Seven year old Bear is one lovable guy! This handsome cat has been through a lot in the last year. After his original owner passed away Bear was abandoned by his caretaker back in August and at the end of October found himself in the care of the Humane Society of Ventura County.

This stunning Husky is our new friend Shadow! Shadow was recently signed over to our Humane Officers in the field in order to find him a new home that fits his needs.

Winter is a 5 year old cream domestic short hair who loves to be pet and would enjoy having a companion. This handsome guy is a little shy at first, but warms up once you give him a chance.
