Pet(s) of the Week - Pad Thai and Spring Roll

Meet Pad Thai (right) and Spring Roll (left)! These two 6-month-old boys might as well be twins, they do everything together! Pad Thai and Spring Roll were given their names after being found near a local Thai restaurant. They were brought to the shelter as strays to find a new home.

Say hello to Stella, a gorgeous 1-year-old German Shepherd mix pup who is looking for her forever home! This pretty girl is friendly and very energetic. She loves going for walks and running around in the agility yard. Stella would do best with an active owner who has time to give her the attention and training she needs.

Meet Alfalfa, an adorable 3-month-old Domestic Shorthair kitten who is looking for a forever home! This cream-colored cutie has the sweetest personality, loves to cuddle, and just wants to be your best friend. His favorite activities include napping, scratching on his post, and getting lots of belly rubs. He would make the perfect cat for any household.

Pet of the Week - Puffy

Meet Puffy! This fluffy girl is 13-years-young and looking for a new home. She was brought to the shelter with a friend, Precious, after their owner could no longer take care of them. Puffy is renal insufficient and therefore will require a special diet for the rest of her life. However, her special needs don't stop her! She is very friendly and loves to cuddle. Puffy would do best in a quiet home where she can get lots of attention and love.

Meet Angus! This handsome boy is a 1-year-old black Lab Retriever who came to the HSVC as a stray in early August. Angus is very friendly and loves to play. He is also really smart! Angus is still a young pup and would benefit from some training. He would do well with an active owner who has lots of time to give him the exercise and attention he needs.

Say hello to Margo, a 4-month-old cutie who is now available for adoption! Margo and her siblings came to the HSVC through one of our rescue partners, Foundling Kitten Society, after her litter was scheduled for euthanasia at another shelter. She is a special needs kitten who has a permanently tilted head and a hearing impairment after having a seizure early on in her life. But she doesn't let her disabilities stop her! Margo is a big ball of energy who loves to play and cuddle.

Pet of the Week - Jazzy

Jazzy is officially available for adoption! Jasmine, Jazzy for short, came to the shelter in mid-May after Humane Officers responded to a call regarding a skinny horse on a property in Ventura County. Officer King met with the owner who decided it was in Jazzy's best interest to be signed over to the HSVC to find a new home.

Two-month-old Dot is stunning! Look at those beautiful eyes! Dot is a black and white Domestic Shorthair kitten that has been waiting for her forever home since late June. She is very sweet, but she can be shy at times. This pretty girl likes to play and loves to have her head scratched.

Meet Jack! This 3-year-old gray tabby Domestic Shorthair is sweet, friendly, and very curious. He loves to wander around the cat room and plays well with other cats. He is looking for his forever home!

7-year-old Dino is still looking for his forever home! This friendly Siberian Husky loves belly rubs, going for walks, and playing with toys. He walks well on a leash and gets along with most other dogs. He's very energetic, so he will need a home with a large and secure yard for him to play in.
