Pet of the Week - Mr. Pickles

Mr. Pickles is looking for a forever home! This handsome boy was brought to the shelter in early March as part of a humane investigation. While his age and exact breed are a mystery, we do know Mr. Pickles has a one-of-a-kind personality. He loves to run around the agility yard, will play fetch for hours, and has so much fun playing in water! Mr. Pickles is also a frequent visitor in the investigations office and often uses his happy demeanor to spread joy around the shelter. He'd make a great addition to any home!

Celebrity sighting at the HSVC! THE Halle Berry was spotted in our cat room looking fierce as ever. Despite what you may have read online, Halle Berry is actually a gorgeous 2-year-old cat looking for her forever home! She can be a little shy at first, but Halle is very sweet once she is comfortable with you. We think she would do best in a more quiet home where she can break out of her shell in her own time. -

We cannot believe Bear is still here! This good boy was surrendered to the HSVC as a puppy in early January of this year. Now 10-months-old, the studly German Shepherd has grown up in the shelter before our eyes. He's sweet, friendly, and true to his breed, very energetic! He would do best with an active owner who will help him maintain his fitness routine. In return he will never leave your side!

Mickey (left) and Wink (right) are a bonded pair looking to live happily ever after together after being transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners. They are a little shy, but Mickey and Wink are very sweet once they trust you. Mickey, a 1-year-old white and brown tabby, enjoys free roaming in our cat room. Two-year-old tuxedo cat Wink is equally as friendly, however, he prefers to keep to himself in the cat room. As part of Adopt a Shelter Cat Month, we're offering a 2-for-1 special on Mickey and Wink! You can bring both of these handsome boys home for just $120. It's a steal of a deal, plus you get to make a difference in the lives of not one but two shelter animals in need!

Pet of the Week - Chucky

Meet Chucky, a handsome Bullmastiff/Siberian Husky mix looking for a forever home! Two-year-old Chucky was brought to the HSVC in mid-April of this year as part of a humane investigation. Despite his large size, Chucky is a gentle giant who immediately captured the heart of our staff and volunteers. He loves to go on pack walks with his shelter friends and has even attended community events with our Animal Ambassadors. Help us find him the loving home he deserves!

Meet Carrie, a gorgeous 5-year-old cat looking for her forever home! This pretty girl is sweet, friendly, and very cuddly. She came to the shelter in early December of 2022 as part of a humane investigation. Unfortunately, Carrie spent her first couple of months at the shelter in our isolation room as she recovered from some non-life-threatening health issues. But now she is healthy, happy, and ready for a home of her own!

Meet Reggie, a 3-year-old Rottweiler pup with a big head and an even bigger heart! This gentle giant was brought to the shelter as a stray in early April. After completing his stray hold unclaimed, Reggie was fixed and made available for adoption. Many may see Reggie and be intimidated by his large size. But he is the absolute sweetest boy! He's looking for a home with a strong owner who will take him on lots of walks and give him all the cuddles!

Baby has such gorgeous green eyes and a stunning personality to match! She's looking for a new forever home after being brought to the shelter as part of a humane education in early March. Sweet but sassy, Baby loves attention but she also isn't afraid to tell you when she needs her space. We think she would make a great companion kitty for anyone who is willing to take a chance on her!

We have one word to describe Camila...GORGEOUS! Not only is Camila absolutely stunning, but the 2-year-old German Shepherd is also sweet, friendly, and very playful! She came to the HSVC as part of a humane investigation in mid-December to find a new home. Her hobbies include going on pack walks, playing with toys, and wrestling with her best friend Ellie in her play yard.

Littles is looking for a forever home! This adorable senior pup may be small, but we promise this pint-sized Chihuahua is one big bundle of joy! He was recently brought to the shelter by our Humane Officers to find a new home. At 16-years-old, Littles is looking for a cozy lap to snuggle up on for his remaining years. Help us find him his forever home!
