Pet(s) of the Week - Taz and Tobin

Taz and Tobin are a bonded pair who were found on Zuma Beach after their owner's property was destroyed during the Woosley Fire. They were evacuated by Humane Officers and taken to the HSVC for safe keeping.

Tobin is a 10-year-old Quarterhorse and Cross with a gentle and sweet personality. Taz, an Arabian whose age is unknown, has a more active and quirky demeanor. The pair have been together since they were young and have grown very close. Taz has been ridden but still needs some miles and time put in on him. Tobin has had a saddle on his back but no rider yet.

Anyone interested should be prepared to adopt our boys together, as they are a package deal. Experienced horse owners are preferred and all applications will be reviewed by our Humane Officers and horse staff.

Note that we are not currently performing adoptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please contact the shelter at 805-646-6505 or [email protected] with any questions.
