Shakira is still searching for her forever home! This stunning 3-year-old black and white Siberian Husky was brought to the HSVC after her owner decided it was in her best interest to be signed over to our Humane Officers. She is friendly, very playful, and has lots of love to give!

Shakira is a very sweet girl, but she often exhibits a behavior known as resource guarding. This means she can often be possessive of her toys. Because of this, we recommend Shakira go to a home with no children, small animals, or other dogs. She would do best in a home with a large, secure yard and an active owner who can take her on lots of walks.

The HSVC is performing adoptions by appointment only due to COVID-19. Due to the circumstances in which she came to the shelter, all applications submitted for Shakira will be reviewed and approved by our Humane Officers.
