Three-year-old Beckham was transferred to the HSVC in mid-October as part of a dog hoarding case in Santa Barbara County. The adorable Chihuahua mix is a little nervous meeting new friends, but he is very sweet when he gets comfortable with you. Beckham's perfect home would be with a patient owner who is willing to let him adjust to his new surroundings in his own time.
The HSVC is performing adoptions by appointment only at this time due to COVID-19. If you are interested in adopting Beckham, please visit our website and click the orange "Let's Get Started" button to fill out an adoption appointment request. Once submitted, our adoption counselors will contact you within 48 hours with the next steps in the adoption process.
Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
