Local Girl Scouts Making A Difference!

Over the weekend we had a very special visit from Girl Scout Troop 60954 who stopped by to present this awesome donation to help the animals of the Humane Society of Ventura County. These young philanthropists worked hard selling Girl Scout cookies throughout the community to raise these much needed funds.

Gracie Finds Her Way Home!

REUNITED AFTER A YEAR AND A HALF! THE POWER OF MICRO-CHIPPING YOUR PETS! Gracie was adopted by Erika from Dog Adoption and Welfare Group (DAWG in Santa Barbara) five years ago. A year and a half ago, Gracie disappeared from her home. Erika and her family searched and searched, never giving up hope even as a year went by!

Sadie Mae, a 10 year old Thoroughbred Mare, was seized in the field and brought to the shelter on September 9, 2014 after being found in severely poor condition. It took nearly 19 months for Sadie May to get justice for the neglect committed against her
