Thank you to everyone who attended this past Sunday's 29th annual Santa Paws event here in Ojai. We had over one hundred guests at this years event! Thank you all for your patience amidst a longer then usual wait-all for a great cause!
Help us find our dear Figaro a home for the holidays! Figaro was abandoned at the shelter back at the end of August. Figaro is a very sweet and handsome cat who we estimate is about 6 years old.
The holidays are filled with festivities, family, food and, of course, our beloved furry friends. During this magical and occasionally hectic time, it’s important to watch out for hazards that could harm your pet.
Sunday, 12/06, 10-3. 402 Bryant St. in Ojai. Be part of a Ventura County tradition! This year marks the 29th annual Santa Paws event to raise much needed funds for animals in need through out the area. Get a festive holiday photo with you and your pets while supporting your local no-kill shelter!
This stunner is Baby! Baby was brought in as a stray on November 5th and sadly was never claimed. She is a slim brown and white Boxer and we estimate that she is 5 years old. Baby is very sweet and has wonderful manners.
Walnuts are here, let the holidays begin! A very special thank you to Black Mountain Ranch for their donation of walnuts-in-the-shell grown locally right here in upper Ojai!
This young lady is Bella. Bella has been an advocate for animals in need for quite some time and last week she stopped by the shelter with her father Charles with an amazing donation!
We would like to give a huge thank you to all of the volunteers who worked for over 5 weeks to fix up our dog yards. In addition to putting up new metal panels, they spruced up our jump pen with new supports and painted all of the paneling with a lovely non-toxic blue-grey paint!
