Sign up Now! Dog Jog 2015

By Amanda Volden

SIGN UP TODAY! Coming soon to Lake Casitas! The first annual Dog Jog will be a fun event for people who love animals and want to support our LOCAL Humane Society. The Dog Jog is a 5k fun run/walk for people (we would LOVE to have dogs participate but it presents too many logistical issues for our very first 5k, hopefully the next one!). The event will take place at Lake Casitas on March 14, 2015. There will be live music by Main Street Band, food trucks, and HSVC will have both information and education booths on site. (Sign up at www.Active.com by February 15th to get a FREE t-shirt).

Thank you for thinking of them during this giving time of the year.

By David Gersh

The staff and animals of the Humane Society of Ventura County would like to wish you all a happy and safe holidays. Because of YOU, we are able to be there when animals in our community need us. The love and support our animals and facility have received this year is astounding and we are humbled by the compassion of our community. Whether it be monetary donations, much needed items such as blankets and food, or the countless hours donated by our volunteers; the HSVC exists because of your gifts.
