Earlier this month we got a call from one of our volunteers, a student at Thacher School. She talked about how the school had a community service day later during the month and if it would be possible for her and some other students to donate a few hours to the shelter. 

We always appreciate the help and planned a mini cleanup day! Seven students and their adult supervisor arrived at 9am and worked all the way to 11:30 on raking, weeding, and cleaning out our dog yards. The yards look amazing due to their hard work and we know the dogs enjoyed the freshly raked yards.

Thank you so much girls. You did an amazing job and the property looks amazing!
