Thank You Rolls Scaffolding!

It is the season for giving and here at the Humane Society of Ventura County we are already feeling the love! Thank you to Jake, Elizabeth, and Charles with Rolls Scaffolding for dropping off an entire truck bed of dog food for our Pet Food Bank!

The HSVC Pet Food Bank provides free pet food to low-income pet guardians. One of the most common reasons for pet relinquishment is financial difficulty, and the Pet Food Bank hopes to help people who are struggling to keep their beloved pets. The Pet Food Bank is entirely supported through community donations. We are so grateful to have such kind and caring people help support this important program.

Those who’d like to support the HSVC’s Pantry 4 Paws program can drop off unopened bags of dry dog or cat food at the Ojai shelter, at 402 Bryant St. Also, the HSVC Amazon Wish List has been updated to include examples of requested food.

Any welfare agencies, nonprofits or businesses that offer assistance to the homeless in Ventura County and are interested in hosting a Pantry 4 Paws dispenser at no cost should contact Greg Cooper, Director of Community Outreach at the HSVC: GregC@hsvc.org or 805-656-6505.
