Thank you Carpinteria LinkedIn for helping us out by cleaning up our dog yards, cutting low-hanging tree branches, and picking up weeds!

If you have stopped by the shelter in the last few days you may have noticed that the grounds are looking mighty good. The Humane Society of Ventura County occupies a little over 4 acres of land-that's a lot of property to care for! We are so grateful to the volunteers and local groups that donate their time to care for the grounds. 

Last friday, fifteen LinkedIn employees stopped by and volunteered their time. This was greatly appreciated as our Open House and 84th Birthday is just a few weeks away! They did an amazing job and our dog yards and grounds look spectacular.
