Wesley, formerly Alfie, was a resident at the Humane Society of Ventura County back in February of last year. One year later, Wesley is looking better than ever! He is happy, healthy, and feeling all the love with his adopted family.

He arrived at the shelter with severely matted fur and in need of some tender love and care (above). 

After getting fixed up, Wesley became a brand new dog. It didn't take long for the Tibetan Terrier to catch the eye of his future parents, Brenda and Jim. They fell in love with adorable Wesley at first sight and knew they had to bring him home. He was adopted on the most loving day of the year, Valentine's Day! Now, over a year later, Wesley and his family returned to the shelter to attend our low-cost shot clinic. 

We are so happy to see Wesley in such a loving home with parents who love and care for him deeply. Thank you, Brenda and Jim, for rescuing this sweet pup!
