We had so much fun at Santa Paws! The beloved HSVC holiday fundraiser returned this past Sunday after a four-year hiatus. We were thrilled to welcome our community members and their furry friends back to the shelter to have their photo taken with Santa. Thank you to all who stopped by to support the HSVC and help us make the holidays special for animals in need! 

The success of this event would not be possible without our amazing staff, sponsors, and volunteers! Thank you to our sponsors Bluedog Telecom and Bitvision, and to our photographer Stephen Adams. We also want to give a special shoutout to our Santa, HSVC volunteer John Chille, and Santa's volunteer helpers, Animal Ambassadors Linda Duval and Laurie McKnett. Thank you to Daphne Fargher for selling her delicious homemade jam onsite during the event and donating the proceeds to support the shelter!

Our holiday fundraiser had an extra sprinkle of holiday cheer this year thanks to Karissa Bodnar, CEO of Thrive Causemetics (pictured left). Karissa has been a supporter of the HSVC since 2018 when she and her company helped raise funds in support of the Thomas Fire. She visited the shelter once again during Sunday's Santa Paws event for a tour of the property and to have her photo taken with Santa. Karissa also donated $1,000 in support of animals in need!
