Rex is now living happily ever after with Kathi and Jerone! The one-year-old sable Chihuahua mix was transferred to the Humane Society of Ventura County from one of our rescue partners in early December 2023. His time at the shelter was short, as he only stayed for a couple of weeks before finding his forever home! 

His new dad, Jerone, said, "Rex is doing great and loves his new home. Rex and our cat, Luna, are bonding, but it did take her some time to get used to Rex. Now they are sleeping in the same bed with Kathi at night and often rub their noses together."

Rex now spends his days socializing with his neighbor dogs surrounding his new backyard. He also often walks with his new mom, Kathi, and is occasionally joined by their daughter and her pet. Thank you, Kathi and Jerone, for giving Rex the loving home he deserves!
