Pet of the Week - Rascal

Update (10/26) Rascal has been adopted! We cannot believe Rascal is still here! This handsome 1-year-old is sweet, playful, and extremely friendly! He came to the shelter as an owner surrender in mid-June after his previous pawrents could no longer care for him. Despite his large size, Rascal firmly believes he is a lap dog and will try to sneak onto your lap every chance he gets. He enjoys chewing sticks, lounging in the sun, and hanging out in his play yard with his buddy, Koda, who is also available for adoption!

Come visit our favorite not-so-little Rascal at the HSVC! He's available to meet new friends any time Monday - Saturday between 10 am and 4:30 pm. The shelter is located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA and Rascal is very excited to meet you!

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
