Pet of the Week - Chucky
Our boy Chucky is looking for a forever home! This handsome Bullmastiff/Siberian Husky mix was brought to the shelter in mid-April of 2023 as part of a humane investigation. At just 2-years-old, Chucky can be very energetic, loves to play with toys, and will fetch for days. He's also so smart and can get the treat out of a Kong toy in no time!
As a larger pup, Chucky is quite strong and is looking for a confident owner who will take charge on walks. Good boy Chucky is eager to please, he just needs someone to give him a little direction! He gets along with most other dogs pending a proper meet and greet, but he is not a big fan of cats. We are recommending he not go to a home with kitty friends.
Stop by the shelter if you think Chucky could be a match for your family! The HSVC is open for visiting the dogs any time Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4:30 pm and we're located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA.
Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
