Pixie is getting all the love she deserves and more with her forever family! Five-year-old Pixie, formerly April, was adopted by Molly and her family in August of 2019. They recently celebrated her “birthday” with gifts of dog toys and “doggy ice cream”. What a spoiled pup!

Molly and Jim visited the HSVC with their two children a little over a year ago to find a new fur family member. One of our shelter staff recommended Pixie to the couple after hearing they were looking for a small to medium size dog who was good with kids. It turned out to be a match made in heaven and the family has been enjoying life with Pixie ever since.

“We loved Pixie right away. She is sweet and loving. She has brought us so much joy. We take her, hiking, to the beach and camping,” said Molly. Thank you Molly, Jim, and kids for rescuing this sweet girl!
