Pet of the Week - Milo

Milo, a 1-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix came to the HSVC as a part of a humane investigation case. After working with our Humane Officers for a month, Milo's owner decided it was in his best interest to be surrendered to our shelter to find a new home.

True to his breed, Milo has a very energetic personality and loves people. He is still learning his manners, but Milo is very intelligent and aims to please. This playful pup's favorite game is fetch and after chasing the ball a few times he will dunk it in the pool along with himself. Milo's ideal home is with an active, confident owner who can help him learn how to be the best boy he can be!

All applications for Milo will be reviewed and approved by our Humane Officers. If you are interested in adopting sweet Milo, please contact Senior Humane Officer King at [email protected] or stop by the shelter to meet him! We are now open to the public Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm and we are located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai.

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
