Pet of the Week - Chance

Chance is looking for his forever home! This Parson Russell mix loves to go on walks and spend time in your lap. When Chance first arrived, he was a little out of shape but after going on regular walks and spending time with his other dog friends, he is now down to a good weight and has plenty of energy to go around.

Chance recently spent some time with our summer campers and they gave us a great report on his personality. Besides being quite fond of children, Chance is becoming comfortable walking on a leash, is mastering his basic commands, and is very eager to learn more. Not to forget Chance is a total love bug! Five year old Chance would be a great addition to a moderate energy level family with children or another dog.

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series, a rabies vaccine, a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.

For dog adoptions, a yard check will be performed prior to adoption. In addition to adequate fencing and shelter, those wishing to adopt a pet must provide either proof of ownership of the residence or a rental agreement for that address indicating that pets are allowed.
