ABOUT
Pet of the Week - Chaka
If you have visited our adult cat room lately you may have been greeted by a lovely black cat named Chaka. Chaka, a 6 year old male domestic short hair, was brought to the shelter after his owner passed away back in June.
While his arrival was under sad circumstances Chaka is one friendly and determined cat ready to find a loving new family. We have no formal background on Chaka but encourage anyone interested in meeting him to stop by our adult cat room and introduce yourself. You will have no problem finding him as he will most likely meet you at the gate!
Cat adoptions will include the first FVRCP shot in the series, a leukemia test and Rabies vaccine if age allows, a medical exam good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, deworming, implanting an identification microchip (registration extra), spay or neuter surgery if necessary as well as a safety collar, ID tag, and a cardboard carrier.
