On March 25th we celebrated Oliver Bird's 37th birthday! If you've ever visited our shelter in Ojai, you likely have encountered our beloved Oliver. He's our resident front office greeter, entertainer, and more! The charismatic Cockatoo has been a permanent resident at HSVC since he was surrendered to the shelter in 1992 at just 5-years-old. He captured the hearts of our staff and visitors immediately and has been the official mascot of the HSVC for 32 years now!
