Mesa Union School Helps Local Animals

The Humane Society of Ventura County recently gave a shelter tour to local teens from Mesa Union School. They came to the shelter to present a check to HSVC and of course, to see the animals.

“They completed a service project where they researched HSVC and held a lemonade stand to raise money to donate. Together they raised over $300,” said their teacher Mrs. Waggoner”.

What a joy it was to see their faces light up when they got to meet Everest, one of our adoptable dogs, in the agility yard! We are incredibly grateful to these amazing teens. Thank you for your donation, inspiring work, and dedication to helping the animals in our community.
