Take Advantage of our Long-Term Resident Adoption Special!
These gorgeous faces are just a few of the many pups at the HSVC that are a part of our latest adoption special! We want to get our long-term residents out of the shelter and into homes in 2024. To help accomplish this goal, all dogs that have been at the shelter longer than 60 days are now available for a half-priced adoption fee!
We care for our shelter residents for as long as it takes for them to find a home. However, a long length of stay in a shelter can take a toll on an animal. You can help us make a difference in the life of a shelter animal in need by bringing one home! Visit our website or stop by the HSVC to meet all of our available furry friends in person! Visiting hours are Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 4:30 pm and the shelter is located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA.
Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
