Just over a year after finalizing his adoption, Jaxx, now Jack is still loving life with Jane! Six-year-old Jack was transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners in late February of 2020. He was diagnosed with heartworm soon after his arrival and required several months of medication and monitoring from our staff. 

Jane, a trusted volunteer and longtime supporter of the HSVC, had been searching for the perfect companion for her Golden Retriever, Jasper. She decided to foster sweet Jack and instantly fell in love with the quirky Welsh Springer Spaniel. His adoption was finalized on July 7th, 2020 and Jack has been living happily ever after with Jane ever since!

"He's a comedian of a dog, he always cracks me up. I discovered pretty quickly that he's also a serious cuddler. I just love him!" said Jane. Thank you, Jane, for giving Jack his second chance and choosing to adopt not shop!
