HSVC Cares Offering FREE Spay/Neuters to Residents Off Ventura Ave.

The Humane Society of Ventura County cares about the dogs and cats of our community! To prove it, HSVC Cares is sponsoring FREE SPAYS & NEUTERS for dogs and cats (including community and unowned cats) for those living North of Main Street (Ventura) near Ventura Avenue through Casitas Springs! Call the HSVC at 805-646-6505 to make an appointment. Spots are limited, call now!

The HSVC Cares program was created with the goal of increasing outreach efforts by supplying free pet food and low-cost pet vaccinations to communities in need. We have since expanded our efforts by offering free spay and neuter surgeries to those living in low-income communities. Our hope by offering this free service is to do our part in reducing pet overpopulation in Ventura County. This will help prevent overcrowding in shelters and allow more opportunities for animals currently in shelters to find their forever homes.

If you live on or near Ventura Avenue in downtown Ventura, call the shelter at 805-646-6505 to make an appointment for FREE spay/neuter surgery for your dog or cat. We are also offering discounted vaccines and microchipping services at the time of surgery. This offer is only valid while supplies last. Be on the lookout for these flyers (above and below) on Ventura Avenue. Be sure to grab one or mention it when making your appointment!
