Attention animal lovers! Are you interested in utilizing your skills while making a difference in the lives of homeless animals in need? If you answered yes, you're in luck! The HSVC is now hiring in several departments including Animal Care, Investigations, and Client Services.

Animal Care Associate:
This group of hardworking animal lovers is responsible for feeding, socializing, and caring for the animals at our shelter. They make a difference in the lives of countless animals in need every day, and we are so grateful for their dedication! Becoming an Animal Care Associate is a great opportunity to work directly with a variety of animals and gain experience in a shelter environment.
Humane Officer:
Our Humane Officers are vital in fulfilling our mission of protecting innocent animals. This position will expand your animal welfare knowledge through hands-on experiences with a variety of animals, community partners, and law enforcement agencies, all while making a difference in the lives of animals in need!
Equine Care Specialist/Animal Transport Staff:
This position will play an important role within our organization caring for HSVC’s equine friends in the barn and transporting shelter animals as needed. Duties include nurturing equine and livestock animals' mental health through regular grooming, handling, exercise, and training. This individual will also clean stalls, coordinate supply orders, perform behavior assessments, and assist in maintaining the wellness of our barn friends.
Client Services Representative:
Our Client Services team are the first faces you meet when arriving at the shelter. They are responsible for sharing their knowledge of HSVC with the public in a friendly and positive manner. This team performs adoptions, helps reunite lost animals with their owners, and more.
