You are the reason they have been given a second chance and that this season they are safe, warm and loved. On their behalf, we thank you for saving their lives and their dignity.

Here at the Humane Society of Ventura County, we provide our animal guests with everything they need to make a successful transition into the security of a loving home and family. Many of the animals in our care have come from broken homes or were abandoned at their most vulnerable stages. Every animal that found a home, received proper medical care, was rescued from disaster, or was given love and attention from our staff and volunteers, was made possible by your kindness. Whether you have made the choice to support the shelter through adoption, donations, or volunteering your valuable time, your enthusiasm and generosity is what makes the difference in the lives of each of animals who find themselves at the shelter through no fault of their own
