Clear The Shelters 2023 is a nationwide pet adoption and donation campaign that helps find loving homes for animals in need. More than 860,000 pets have found their forever homes since the campaign's launch in 2015. We could not be more excited to participate!

Please visit our Adopt page to review HSVC's adoption requirements prior to arriving at the shelter this Friday. All potential adopters must participate in the full adoption process to ensure each pet finds the best-suited home. This promotion does not guarantee the adoption of an HSVC shelter animal. 

Note that for all same-day dog adoptions, potential adopters MUST show proof of home ownership or a rental agreement stating they are allowed to have a dog in their home. Potential adopters must also bring photos/videos of their yard to show proof that it is secure enough for their desired pet. All dogs requiring additional meet and greets will be scheduled for a later date with the fee-waived price honored. Thank you!
