This past Saturday was an emotional day at the shelter. Sue, who is a regular volunteer at the shelter, has been working with senior sweetheart Baby since she arrived from Ventura County Animal Services a couple months ago. At 14 years old, Baby was our oldest dog resident, and to be quite honest she was just plain over being in the kennels.

A couple weeks ago we featured Baby for Five Dollar Friday, and though lots of people showed interest, she didn't go home. That's ok, because Baby and Sue were meant for each other. So happy to have gotten this awesome shot of Sue and Baby giving each other a high-five as they left the building!
