Congratulations to beautiful Luna who was adopted by Pam! A couple weeks ago the Humane Society of Ventura County received a phone call from local Park Rangers that a small dog had been abandoned near Lake Casitas. The dog was brought to the shelter for safekeeping and before we knew it the story of this precious girl spread throughout the community.

Pam, who has adopted from the Humane Society before, saw Luna's picture and fell in love. Pam visited every day until Luna became available for adoption and brought her older dog Sissy to meet Luna. As you can see it was a success and Luna went home last week!
