Our dear sweet senior Missy left the building on Monday in the loving arms of a caring senior human. Missy had been at the shelter for over a month before finding her forever home. We estimated that Missy was between 12-14 years old and has mammary tumors that are to dangerous to have removed.

Missy will now have the chance to live out her days (or years!) in a wonderful home. We hope that Missy's new mom knows how truly special she is!

Senior dogs make wonderful pets. They are great companions, usually house trained and know their basic manners. We hope that more people out there will consider adding a senior animal to their family!
