Pet of the Week - Dottie

Meet Dottie! This adorable 1-year-old Chihuahua is now available for adoption! Pretty girl Dottie was recently transferred to the HSVC through our rescue partners to find a new home. With such a sweet and cuddly personality, Dottie has become a fast favorite among our staff. If you are looking for an affectionate lap dog, Dottie is your girl!

The HSVC is now open for staff-guided viewings of the animals and no longer accepting online applications at this time. Those interested in adopting Dottie or any of our available animals can do so by visiting the shelter and signing up for a staff-guided viewing. Adoption applications must be filled out in-person at the shelter and only after completing a guided viewing. We are located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai. Please visit our website to view all the new guidelines and protocols regarding visitation and adoption.

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
