Thank You Stocking Stuffer Donors!

The holidays aren’t over here at HSVC! We recently asked for help filling our shelter animals’ stockings, and boy did Santa deliver! We received hundreds of toys and treats for our shelter animals to enjoy. Thank you to all who donated goodies to make our furry friends feel loved this holiday season! There's still time to donate and make the day of a shelter animal in need! We are always accepting donations of toys, treats, blankets, towels, and pet food to the shelter. Donations can be dropped off in person at the shelter, located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA, any time during business hours Monday - Saturday from 10 am - 5 pm. Those interested can also donate via our Amazon or Chewy.com wishlists. Thank you for your support!

Flood Watch: Be Prepared!

Flash flood warnings have been issued in Ventura County and Los Angeles County and will be effective until Thursday, January 5th. Excessive rain (between 2 - 4 inches) may cause flooding in your area. The best thing you can do for yourself and your pets is to be prepared for an emergency. Thank you, Rotary Student Peace Ambassadors!

The Rotary Club of Ojai has partnered with the Ojai Unified School District to recognize students exhibiting the OUSD Core Values. These Core Values include a culture of inclusion,  environmental stewardship, creativity, and wellness. As part of this partnership, Rotary has presented each student with $50 to donate to a local nonprofit of their choice. Thank you to the many Rotary Student Peace Ambassadors who chose the HSVC as their beneficiary!

Thank you for spreading holiday cheer, St. Patrick's School!

The Humane Society of Ventura County would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the students of St. Patrick's School in Thousand Oaks, CA for their generous donations this holiday season! The students donated hundreds of dollars worth of toys, treats, and pet accessories to benefit the animals at our shelter. Each item was even wrapped like a Christmas present, what a festive way to spread joy to animals in need! Thank you to all who donated to help us spoil our shelter animals this holiday season!
