HSVC Finds Homes for Over 500 Animals in 2023!

The Humane Society of Ventura County is excited to share that we exceeded our goal of 500 adoptions in the year 2023! We found forever homes for 526 animals in need, which is a 6% increase from last year! Thank you to all the loving families who opened their hearts and homes to rescue dogs, cats, and horses. A special shoutout also goes out to our hardworking and dedicated staff who made each of these adoptions possible. Our shelter would not have been able to accomplish our goal without you!

We want to continue this momentum into the New Year! Our shelter has lots of furry friends still patiently waiting to be adopted into forever homes of their own. Stop by the HSVC, located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, any time during visiting hours Monday - Saturday between 10 am - 4:30 pm to meet your future best friend!
