Minna and her friends formed the All Things Natural Club over the summer with the hopes of making a difference in their community. The group of nature lovers raised money by selling plants at their roadside plant stand. All of the proceeds were donated to the HSVC in support of Bagel the cat’s surgery. From the entire staff, we want to say thank you to Minna and her friends for their donation and their kindness to animals!

A cat lover herself, Minna and her family adopted their cat Sherlock, formerly Greg, from the HSVC a few years back. She read about Bagel’s hip surgery online and wanted to help him. Her mom helped her come up with the idea of selling plants found on their large property in Ojai. The club even used recycled pots they found at local shops and throughout their neighborhoods.

The All Things Natural Club continues to sell plants and donates the proceeds to a different local charity or nonprofit each week. We are so impressed with their work ethic and desire to help their community. Keep up the good work kids!
