HSVC Celebrates Volunteer Appreciation Week!

This week we also celebrate Volunteer Appreciation Week! As an organization founded by volunteers, these incredible individuals hold a special place in our hearts. We know our shelter would not be able to make a difference in the lives of so many animals in need without our dedicated volunteers!

The duties of an HSVC volunteer extend to so much more than just spending time with our shelter animals. Our volunteers help muck stalls, perform maintenance around the shelter, assist our office and kennel staff, and so much more.

Our off-site volunteers help us deliver free pet food, pick up donation boxes, and attend community events to spread our mission. We truly could not do what we do without them!

While we are currently only open to Animal Ambassador volunteers, we are hoping to open back up to all volunteers very soon! If you are interested in volunteering with the HSVC, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Sarah Fraza, via email at [email protected] or by calling 805-646-6505.
