April is Volunteer Appreciation Month! As an organization founded by volunteers, these dedicated individuals share a special place in our hearts. From socializing frightened kittens and exercising our most energetic dogs to mucking stalls and working offsite events, this group represents the very best of our animal-loving community. They spend countless hours putting the needs of the animals before their own, and we are so grateful for their service!

All month long, we look forward to highlighting many of our wonderful volunteers and sharing the ways they each make a positive impact on the lives of animals in need. We will also be sharing information about how you can get started volunteering at the HSVC. Stay tuned!
