Our shelter family recently gathered for a heartwarming evening to honor the behind-the-scenes heroes of our mission—our incredible volunteers and fosters. In celebration of Volunteer Appreciation Month, we proudly hosted a special appreciation dinner right here at the shelter, featuring an array of delicious pasta catered by the beloved local favorite, Boccali’s. This event was just one small but meaningful way for us to demonstrate how truly grateful we are for all that our volunteers and fosters do. Thank you to each and every one of you!

From the moment the evening began, the atmosphere was filled with joyous laughter, warm hugs, and heartfelt conversations that encapsulated the spirit of community and gratitude. The delightful aroma of fresh pasta intertwined with the scent of garlic bread filled the air, creating an inviting and friendly ambiance. Guests were welcomed with immense gratitude and warmth in their hearts.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly a series of short but compelling speeches delivered by our dedicated team. Each reflected the immense and positive impact that our volunteers and fosters make every single day in our shelter community. From braving harsh weather to walk dogs, staying up late to bottle-feed adorable kittens, and helping our animals gain confidence, each minute this dedicated group spends with our shelter animals makes an immense impact. We made a point to give special shout-outs to several individuals who have gone above and beyond this past year, making notable contributions to our mission. Truthfully, every single one of our fosters and volunteers deserves recognition and appreciation. Their selflessness, boundless compassion, and unwavering dedication are what keep our mission alive, thriving, and making a difference in the lives of countless animals in need.
