Pet of the Week - Venti

Meet Venti, a spirited and happy 1.5-year-old pup ready to bring her boundless energy and joy to an active home! Originally transferred from OC Animal Care in mid-November of 2023, Venti was placed into a foster-to-adopt home two separate times before ultimately returning to our care in mid-December due to no fault of her own. She was formally adopted shortly after her second return to the shelter. However, her adoptive home proved to not be the right fit for the rambunctious pup, and she was returned to the shelter a third time. This beautiful brindle medium mixed breed is now searching for her true forever family. With a love for outdoor adventures, Venti is the perfect companion for someone who enjoys staying active—she's always up for a run or a hike! True to her name, Venti's energetic, bouncy, fun-loving personality makes her a joy to be around, and she thrives on playtime with toys, making her a great fit for a household that can provide plenty of stimulation.

Venti has lived with kids successfully and is generally friendly and social with people. While she already knows some basic obedience, she would benefit from continued training in her new home to help her grow into the best dog she can be. With her positive attitude and eagerness to please, Venti is ready to bond with a family that can keep up with her active lifestyle and help her reach her full potential. Venti is the perfect fit for an owner looking for a dog who will keep you moving and smiling!

Come visit our favorite Venti coffee at HSVC! Venti is available to meet new friends any time Monday - Saturday between 10 am and 4:30 pm. The shelter is located at 402 Bryant St. in Ojai, CA, and she is very excited to meet you!

Included with every dog adoption will be the first DHPP shot of the series (if age allows), a rabies vaccine (if age allows), a wellness check good for up to three days from participating veterinarians, implanting an identification microchip with registration, spay or neuter surgery, if necessary, as well as a collar, ID tag, and a leash.
