Animal Lovers! Join Us for Two Upcoming FREE Virtual Classes!

The HSVC is hosting two FREE virtual classes for animal lovers in honor of World Spay Day and World Wildlife Day! The FREE 45-minute online classes will take place on Thursday, February 25th, at 2 pm PST, and Wednesday, March 3rd, at 2 pm PST via Zoom.

The first class, to be held on February 25th, will honor World Spay Day by focusing on the importance of spaying and neutering your pets. At the end of this class Animal Friends will be able to answer the 4Ws (Who, What, Where, and Why) of spaying/neutering.
The second class, to be held on March 3rd, will celebrate World Wildlife Day (WWD) by raising awareness about the world's wild animals and plants. The theme for WWD 2021 is forests and livelihoods: sustaining people and the planet. At the end of this class, Animal Friends will be able to identify the keystone species of the underwater forest and discuss the importance of having a thriving kelp forest to our local ecosystem. Hosted by Humane Educator Angie Sagliani (below), each class will be filled with fun, creative content, and maybe even some special appearances by furry friends!

Registration is FREE, but donations are encouraged! Your donation will help us continue to provide humane education to young animal-loving learners! Sign up today!
